Got up this morning with every intention of walking 2 miles sometime today, but as the day goes - laundry, dishes, meetings, work, dinner, and so on, and not sew on; which is a whole nother story; have all preceeded this idea. But maybe the fact that I got in 5 miles on Saturday and another 2 yesterday have made me a little slack in the "must walk every day" challange. This challange came about because of a great opportunity to take a trip to Ireland's west coast and do a 6 day walking and or hiking tour there. So of course although I am already packed and ready to go; we don't leave for another week yet; I am still preoccupied with the trip. And yet these nice days are calling me to dig and plant in my flowers beds, weed and feed the perrenials, and go to the local plant store for annuals. This I am sorry to say will be put off until the return from vacation so that I am not worrying about the health of the poor things. Although I am sitting out on my deck as I post this, enjoying the beginning of spring - yes I did say the beginning of spring. I have a list growing in my head of all the things that I would like to do in the yard and flowers beds this spring and summer so I will try to keep you posted on how that goes. There are also some sewing projects that are lined up and some client work to get done, life will not be dull, but at this point of my life I try not to move too fast or get too busy that I cannot enjoy what I have been blessed with.
